Founded nationally in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church. The St. Isidore Council No. 10186 of the Knights of Columbus, Cyclone – Marak was chartered on November 30, 1989. The Council was named for the Patron Saint of farmers,
The Cyclone-Marak Council has been favored with many state and district awards and is considered one of the strongest Councils in the district. Locally the Council awards scholarships, conducts basketball free throw contests, supports parish programs and contributes to the families of the local widows.
